The Edwards Signaling EOL Resistor is an end-of-line resistor used for fire alarm systems. It has a resistance of 4.7k ohms and a power rating of 1/4 watt. The resistor has axial leads and measures 0.4" L x 0.2" W. It can be used to provide supervision of Class B wiring in fire alarm devices. The EOL resistor provides an end-of-line indication and is often wired in series with the last device on the circuit.
